About

Preventing Falls Starts Here! Join the Falls Free Missouri Coalition to obtain your Falls Risk Screener Certification.

This training equips community health workers, home health aides, care coordinators, and other frontline professionals with the skills to screen, assess, document, and provide resources to older adults at risk for falls. Participants learn about validated assessment tools, evidence-based interventions, Missouri‑specific referral pathways, and understand the Healthy Aging and Falls Free Missouri Resource Guide.

Want to help older adults decrease fall risks? Complete the online training to learn how to identify fall risks, conduct screenings, document findings, and connect older adults with resources in the community.

Want to train others? Complete the online training and attend the hands-on session on October 14th to become a Falls Risk Screener Certified Trainer, qualified to teach these skills to additional partners.

Stay in Columbia and join us for the MOCAN October Summit on October 15th, 2026.
