About

The goal of this workshop is to equip VCE agents and educators with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively share Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices within their communities. By adopting a train-the-trainer approach, we aim to create a multiplier effect—expanding the reach of IPM education to a broader audience. Given the ever-evolving nature of pest management, ongoing professional development is essential. This workshop will help ensure that VCE faculty stay up to date with the latest IPM strategies and techniques, enabling them to deliver accurate, timely, and practical information to their clientele. It will also support the adoption of cutting-edge pest management technologies. Finally, by building a network of well-informed trainers, this initiative encourages collaboration and knowledge-sharing, strengthening the VCE system's ability to respond to emerging pest challenges.
