About

Have you heard about the benefits of including Nebraska native prairie plants in your landscape, but weren't sure how to go about getting started? In this class, UNL Extension Educator ian peterson will describe the benefits of using native flowers and grasses in your yard and explain management practices to help gardeners of any skill level and taste preference learn how they can bring a piece of the prairie home. Program cost is $40 and includes a 10-plant starter pack to take with you! Limit one plant pack per household or garden. Refunds will not be offered for cancelled registrations.

Accommodation requests for registration or attendance may be directed to ian peterson at least TWO (2) business days prior to the program at ipeterson4@unl.edu or 402.727.2775. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet access needs.
