Discover the Benefits of Tai Chi Walking in This 8-Week Virtual Series
Nebraska Extension is excited to offer an 8-week virtual Tai Chi Walking program. Participants will learn Real Tai Chi Walking, a mindful approach to walking that emphasizes posture, balance, body alignment, and intentional movement to improve walking mechanics and reduce strain on the body. In addition to movement instruction, participants will receive practical education on supporting their exercise routine through nutrition strategies and sleep habits that promote recovery and overall wellness.
Program delivery will occur through a closed Facebook group, allowing participants to engage with weekly content and instruction at their convenience.
Participation in this program is voluntary, and by enrolling, participants acknowledge that they assume responsibility for their participation and agree not to hold the University of Nebraska–Lincoln or Nebraska Extension liable for injuries or ailments resulting from participation in the program.
Please direct accommodation requests for registration or attendance to Ashley Fenning at least 3 business days before the program at astevens4@unl.edu or 308-262-1022. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet access needs.
