ServSafe Food Managers Training

This is an 8-hour food safety training and certification course designed for restaurant owners, managers, food handlers, dietitians, and dietary managers who need in-depth food safety knowledge. 

You will learn how to: 

• protect your customers from food-borne illness & improve food quality 
• reduce liability risks 

Course topics include: 

• Food microbiology
• Sanitary food handling & storage
• Personal health hygiene
• Housekeeping and pest control
• Safety procedures

Register at least 3 weeks before the course. (Can be picked up at the Dakota County Extension Office after you are registered for class.) 

Cost: $155.00 

Includes: Breaks, training manual, and examination fee.

** You will be given approximately 45 mins for lunch on your own. 

Exam: Up to a 2 hour exam to be taken after completion of the class.
