Strengthening Regional Collaboration for Long-Term Recovery

Regional Leadership Roundtable: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

As St. Louis continues its long-term recovery following the May 2025 tornado, we have an opportunity to learn from communities that have navigated this work before us.

You are invited to join a Regional Leadership Roundtable bringing together civic, business, philanthropic, housing, and community leaders for a facilitated discussion with recovery practitioners from New Orleans and Joplin. Together, we will explore how stronger regional collaboration can help accelerate recovery, expand economic opportunity, and build more resilient communities.

This working session is designed to encourage candid dialogue, identify opportunities for collaboration, and strengthen partnerships that support residents, small businesses, and neighborhoods over the long term.

Purpose

This is not a public forum or panel discussion. It is a working session designed to bring together leaders who are committed to the long-term success of the St. Louis region. Participants will have the opportunity to share perspectives, ask questions, learn from recovery practitioners, and explore how greater coordination can strengthen our collective impact.

Discussion Topics

Participants will discuss strategies and opportunities related to:

• Strengthening regional collaboration
• Supporting residents and small businesses through long-term recovery
• Economic development and neighborhood investment
• Housing recovery and redevelopment
• Workforce development and talent pipelines
• Public-private partnerships
• Philanthropy's role in long-term recovery
• Building resilient communities for future generations

Guiding Question: How can St. Louis work more collaboratively across sectors to accelerate long-term recovery, strengthen neighborhoods, and create lasting economic opportunity for residents, small businesses, and development?

Networking Lunch: 12:00 – 12:30 p.m.

A working lunch providing continued opportunities for relationship-building and discussion and CCF Asset Protection.

Community Bus Tour: 12:40 – 2:00 p.m

Experiencing Recovery in North St. Louis

A guided tour of tornado-impacted neighborhoods highlighting community assets, recovery efforts, redevelopment opportunities, and resident-led initiatives.
