Bugs, Trees, and Grasses of Valley View Glades

Join MU Extension Specialists for a nature hike to observe the insects, trees, and herbaceous plants along the trail at Valley View Glades Natural Area in Hillsboro, MO. Learn about Missouri's insects, tree identification, ecology, and more!

This event involves moderate hiking in potentially hot weather over dirt and rocky terrain. We will not be hiking the entirety of the trail loop and will instead do an out-and-back, but you are welcome to continue on if you would like. Please come prepared for the weather and the hike. We recommend sunscreen, bug spray, and sturdy shoes.
