About
Join us for a Community Walk hosted by University of Missouri Extension as part of the statewide 100 Miles, 100 Days initiative!
This no-cost, in-person event is a fun and encouraging way to connect with your community, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors during the summer challenge. Whether you’ve already been logging miles or are just getting started, everyone is welcome. The walk is open to all ages and abilities.
The walk will take place at Owl Creek Park in St. Francois County and will be led by Sarah Higgins, MU Extension Natural Resources Specialist, who will guide participants along the trail as they learn to identify native plants and invasive species. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet others taking part in the challenge and learn about resources and opportunities that support healthy living and outdoor recreation.
If you haven’t already, be sure to register for the statewide 100 Miles, 100 Days program to start tracking your activity and receive weekly motivation.
This is a no-cost event.
