About

Looking to change your pasture management? Join us for the Ray County Management Intensive Grazing School! At this informative school you will learn how Management Intensive Grazing (MIG) can improve pasture health, reduce feed costs, and may even boost livestock performance! The Ray County Management Intensive Grazing School will dive into:

  • livestock nutrition
  • plant growth
  • fencing and water systems
  • forage quality
  • grazing economics

Participants will also visit working farms to see MIG in action. This 3-day school is ideal for producers looking to lower input costs, improve resource management, and potentially qualify for cost‑share programs through your local Soil and Water Conservation District, Natural Resource Conservation Service or the Center for Regenerative Agriculture.

Cost: $180 per attendee, $70 for additional member of same farming operation. Lunch is included for all 3 days.
