About
Paint Your Story is a free guided art experience designed for veterans and first responders. Hosted by the University of Missouri Extension’s Veteran R.E.A.D.S. Program in partnership with Monkey Brain Art, this event brings together creative expression, reflection, and community connection.
Participants will take part in a guided painting activity while engaging in conversation about personal stories, resilience, and the shared experiences of service. No art experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
The event is free and open to all veterans and first responders.

Driving Directions:
Belton Cinema 8 is located just east of I-49/US-71 Highway at the North Avenue exit. From the highway, take the North Avenue exit and travel east. The cinema is located near the intersection of North Avenue and Mullen Road with ample parking available.
