Extension Master Gardener: Garden 'n Grow (Kansas City)

A Youth Gardening Adventure for Ages 9–13

Get ready for a summer packed with discovery, dirt, and delicious harvests! In the Garden 'n Grow program, young growers ages 9–13 will plant, tend, and harvest their very own garden plots -- guided every step of the way by the knowledgeable and friendly Extension Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City.

Whether your child is a budding botanist or completely new to gardening, this hands-on program builds skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of nature. Each session combines outdoor exploration with fun, kid-friendly learning that brings the magic of gardening to life.

Program Details

Dates: Mondays and Thursdays, June 1 – August 6, 2026 (20 sessions)
Time: 9:00–11:00 AM
Location: Fairfield Christian Church  |  1800 NE 65th Street, Kansas City, MO 64118
Cost: $50 for the entire summer
