Workshop on Raised Bed Gardening - Phelps County

This education program provides information to gardeners on different aspects of raised bed gardening. Some of the topics discussed will be reasons for raised bed gardening and their advantages. The participants also learn about different tips for locating the raised bed, different types of raised beds. The design of raised beds and using good quality soil mix will be discussed in this workshop. Participants will also learn about vertical gardening and straw bale gardening in the workshop.
