About

The University of Missouri’s Recruit, Inspire, Support the Early Childhood Profession in Missouri (RISE-MO) initiative is working to strengthen and sustain Missouri’s early childhood workforce.

In this webinar, you will explore how RISE-MO helps early childhood educators through recruitment, professional development, and leadership preparation. Discover how the program provides credentialing opportunities such as the CDA Prep Program, creates smoother education pathways with community college partners, and engages future educators through early career exploration.

The session will also highlight newly developed resources for business and community sectors, demonstrating how employers and local leaders can play an active role in improving access to high-quality child care for working families and supporting a resilient early childhood workforce.

Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how RISE-MO resources can be applied locally to strengthen communities, support educators, and ensure every child in Missouri has access to high-quality early learning experiences.

How RISE-MO supports professionals and communities:

  • Career exploration pathways introducing young people to early childhood education
  • Credentialing and professional development, including CDA preparation
  • Targeted certificates in early childhood leadership
