The Backyard Restoration Toolkit: Swapping Invasives for Native Gardens and Healthy Trees

February 23rd-27th is Invasive Species Awareness Week. Take action to reduce the impact of invasive plants- starting in your yard!

 Join MU Extension, the Scenic Rivers Invasive Species Partnership, and the Missouri Prairie Foundation to learn about establishing and maintaining native plant gardens in your yard to enhance your local ecosystem. 

Topics covered in this workshop include:

1. Invasive plant management
2. Installing a native plant garden
3. Tree selection and care

This workshop is free. It will be held in the conference room of the Dent County Extension Office, located on the second floor of the judicial building.
