Completing this training makes one eligible for the Noncertified Restricted-Use Pesticide (NRUP) Applicator license. The license will allow you to legally use or determine the need for the use of any restricted use pesticide while under the direct supervision of a certified commercial applicator, certified noncommercial applicator or certified public operator.
This training covers important competency standards including:
- Reading and Understanding Pesticide Labels
- Pesticide Application Techniques
- Storing and Disposing of Chemicals Safely
- Protecting Pollinators and other Wildlife.
It also explains state and federal rules about pesticide use and provides applicators with an opportunity to ask questions about the latest developments.
