Celebrate 2026 by joining specialists from MU Extension for a New Year’s hike! Learn how to identify trees in the wintertime using clues like twigs, buds, and bark.
There will be multiple hike locations across Missouri happening on Saturday, January 3rd at 10 am. Please select the hike you wish to attend when registering:
- High Ridge: Pleasant Valley Nature Preserve Loop
- Jefferson City: Runge Nature Center
- Warsaw: Shawnee Bend Bluff Trail
This event is free. Please dress appropriately as this event will be outside and will involve moderate hiking with occasional stops.
