About

2 night event. First night will be theory and basic practice of Shield Metal Arc Welding (Stick Welding). Second night will be advanced stick welding of mild steel.

  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST 1st Night

    Agriculture Building is located directly behind Fredericktown High School. During the first night we will discuss safety, considerations for purchasing welding equipment, theory and processes of shielded metal arc welding, and practical application of striking the arc and fusing metal.

Dec. 16, 2026

  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST 2nd Night

    2nd night will be in the shop practicing fusing mild steel together. Special emphasis will be given to "real world" metal welding.
