About

Where are creativity and the arts showing up in healthcare across our region? What’s working, what’s missing, and where could stronger connections help?

Join MU Extension, the UMKC Conservatory, and ArtsKC for a conversation with healthcare practitioners, medical professionals, therapists, and others connecting healthcare with creativity and the arts.

Whether you use creative approaches in your practice, partner with artists, or are exploring what’s possible, we welcome your perspective.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • How creativity and the arts are being used in healthcare and community wellbeing.

  • Experiences and insights from your work.

  • Barriers, gaps, and resources needed.

  • Opportunities for collaboration across healthcare, the arts, and community organizations.

This focus group is part of a regional effort to map the people, programs, organizations, partnerships, and places connecting arts, health, and wellbeing. Your perspective will help inform that map and future conversations about funding, research, and regional planning.
