About

How are artists and community members using creativity to support health and wellbeing across Kansas City? What would help this work grow?

Join MU Extension, the UMKC Conservatory, and ArtsKC for a conversation with artists, makers, and people connecting creativity and health. Whether your work happens in a studio, neighborhood, community organization, or care setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • The creative work happening across our region.

  • Challenges, gaps, and resources people need.

  • Opportunities for partnerships and collaboration.

  • What you’d like others to understand about your work and its impact.

This focus group is part of a regional effort to map the people, programs, organizations, partnerships, and places connecting arts, health, and wellbeing. Your perspective will help inform that map and future conversations about funding, research, and regional planning.
