Native Seed Collection Workshop: Harrison County

Join us for a native seed collection workshop where we will be collecting seed by hand and learning how to identify plants by seed-head, how to collect seed from different families, and meet other locals with similar interest in your community! Seed collected from each site will remain onsite to ensure local ecotype recruitment of new plants. We encourage participants to wear closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, and insect repellant treated clothes. We will provide clippers, buckets, and water but bringing your own equipment is encouraged.

Participants should meet at MDC's Pawnee Prairie Conservation Area near Hatfield Missouri. 13770 W 140th Ave, Hatfield, MO 64458, United States
