About
Feeling tired, overwhelmed, or isolated because of your chronic pain? The Chronic Pain PATH Toolkit gives you the tools to feel better. You will learn how to:
- Better manage pain, fatigue, and difficult emotions
- Evaluate medical treatments to choose which is the right one for you
- Make healthier food choices to manage pain
- Talk with family, friends, and healthcare providers about your pain
Program benefits may include:
- Increased energy and less fatigue
- Improved ways to communicate talk with your healthcare providers and family members
- Reduced medication use to manage pain
This workshop is free and open to all Michigan adult residents. Family members, friends, and caregivers are encouraged to attend with you.
The workshop meets for 1 hour, once a week for 6 weeks. You must have a telephone or a computer to attend this workshop. When you register, you agree to attend all six sessions. Please let your facilitator know if you are going to be absent.
