Ornamental grasses in the garden

This program will highlight why turf alternatives should be considered for a portion of your garden, recommendations for plants that are easy to maintain, and an outdoor walk (weather permitting) to view the grasses and sedges garden, discuss installation, and annual maintenance requirements. The MSU Extension - Macomb office has installed and maintained a grasses and sedges garden on our campus. Come and see its progression over time and consider a new way to diversify your garden. A limited number of free ornamental grass plugs will be available to participants.
