Ionia County MSU Extension Fall Apple Preservation Class

Celebrate Michigan’s apple season with Ionia County MSU Extension! Join us on October 25 from 3–5:30 p.m. at the Ionia County MSUE Office (50 E. Sprague Rd., Ionia) for a hands‑on Apple Preservation Class. Learn how to turn fresh apples into jellies, salsas, dehydrated treats, and beautifully canned goods. You’ll gain confidence in water‑bath canning basics, take home helpful handouts and resources, and leave with a bag of apples to practice your new skills. Registration is FREE, but limited to the first 20 registrants—come learn, create, and enjoy the harvest!
